DISTANCE LEARNING

The organization of the educational process will be implemented through conventional face-to-face classroom teaching.

The educational process may use methods of synchronous distance learning exclusively in the following cases:

      • in force majeure or extraordinary circumstances, mainly when person-to-person teaching is not possible or when the use of NKUA infrastructure for educational, research and other activities is impossible,
      • organization of in-depth courses and tutorial exercises, in addition to the mandatory teaching hours per course.

The Digital Governance Unit of NKUA is responsible for supporting distance learning, as well as for issues regarding the protection of personal data.

NKUA maintains an electronic platform accessible to persons with disabilities, through which asynchronous distance learning services are available. On this electronic platform, it is possible to upload educational material per course, which can include lecture notes, presentations, exercises and indicative solutions of these, as well as video recordings of lectures, provided that current legislation concerning the protection of personal data is observed. Εducational material of all kinds is provided exclusively for the educational use of students and is protected by Law 2121/1993 (Α’ 25), provided all relevant conditions are met.
